Furthermore, many of its rooms have been recently refurbished to ensure high levels of comfort. The hotel offers four types of categories including Rooms, Suites, One-of-a-kind Suites and Apartments. The rooms and suites are decorated with luxurious interiors and many offer magnificent views. Each One-of-a-kind suite has its own history along with a tribute to past celebrities who have stayed there. Our favorite Caruso Suite is dedicated to the famous tenor who lived in this suite for a month in 1921. In addition, the hotel boasts luxurious villas for extended stays and families on its property.
Dining and Drinks
The Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria offers different dining solutions for its guests. Terrazza Bosquet is a gourmet restaurant managed by the talented Michelin-starred Executive Chef Antonino Montefusco. There is no better place to enjoy the unique views of the Gulf of Sorrento and savor a refined, top-quality culinary experience. Orangerie poolside bar & restaurant is located in the orange grove by the pool area. Its menu promotes local food producers and regional flavors. Also, we ate one of the finest pizza on the Amalfi Coast!
Terrazza Vittoria is another great solution where to dine or simply have an aperitif at sunset. Its menu offers a selection of Neapolitan and international specialities. Furthermore, in recent years, the Excelsior Vittoria has been developing an organic and 0 km cuisine thanks to its own vegetable garden located on the property a few meters from the kitchens. Last but not least, this hotel boasts a Champagne Bar called La Pergola. This Bar à Champagne is located in the hotel garden overlooking the Bay of Naples under a pergola with a century-aged wisteria.
Indoor and Outdoor Environments
The iconic Excelsior Vittoria boasts extremely elegant interior rooms with period furnishings and frescoes. Walking through its halls is like living an experience with a particular charm in a bygone era. Above all, the beautiful breakfast room reveals the utmost elegance with its ceiling frescoes and large bright windows. So having breakfast there is a truly unique experience.
The restaurant Terrazza Vittoria offers a wonderful view of the Gulf of Sorrento. In addition, this terrace was our favorite sunset aperitif spot during our stay at the Excelsior Vittoria. In fact, the sun sets directly in front of you making the experience very romantic. Being surrounded by a 5-acre park, we can consider the Excelsior Vittoria not only a luxury hotel but also a resort. The perfect place where you can enjoy wide-open spaces and relaxing walks. In fact, spaces will never be a problem in this 5-star luxury hotel.
Wellness and Well-being
From the long driveway of the hotel immersed in the nature of the park, it seems to be an oasis of well-being and luxury. The swimming pool is only a few steps away from the main hotel building. Spending a relaxing day in the pool is a very pleasant experience. In fact, while sunbathing on one of the comfortable sunbeds you can sip signature drinks or eat a pizza. Also, there is a separate pool for children as well as a playground with football goal areas nearby.
The Boutique Spa La Serra, designed according to the principles of Feng Shui, is based in a converted 19th-century greenhouse adjoining the hotel’s swimming pool. The Spa features three highly comfortable cabins, and a private suite for couples with its own Jacuzzi bathtub, dressing room and large private garden for relaxation. Indulge in one or more of the signature treatments, face and body treatments, massages, manicures, pedicures and waxing. The Excelsior Vittoria also offers its guests an exclusive gym with state-of-the-art equipment. The gym, located on the ground floor, ensures that guests are able to commit to their fitness plans while traveling.
