In fact, we immediately fell in love with its small whitewashed houses, its pretty bougainvillaeas and its colorful windows, doors and balconies in pure Cycladic style. However, for many – and for us too! – Mykonos Town is a maze and it’s not easy to find the best Instagram spots among its narrow streets. One of the first spots we found walking through the streets of Mykonos Town. Mamalouka is essentially a restaurant with such an Insta-worthy bougainvillaea at its entrance. We didn’t try its food, but we definitely recommend coming when the restaurant is closed to take some photos.

You have probably seen many photos of this iconic spot in Mykonos Town. #Happiness is a family-run shop that has become very popular in recent years thanks to Instagram. So if you are planning to do some shopping you can visit it and find out what it has for sale. This spot is usually very busy during the day. In fact, people wait in line to take their photos, so visit early in the morning to avoid the crowds.

Le Maison de Katrin is one of our favorite spots in Mykonos. This restaurant boasts a beautiful bougainvillaea at its entrance which makes this place a perfect spot for your Instagram feed. Mornings are the best time to take some photos here when the restaurant is closed and there are no tables on the street.

This street is one of the prettiest and most photographed in Mykonos. We fell in love with its cubic whitewashed houses and its colorful railings. In addition, there are some beautiful bougainvillaea which with their red and pink flowers are in perfect contrast with the white of the walls and the colors of the railings. Remember that all the streets in Mykonos Town are very busy, so early mornings are the best time for your photos.

Agias Paraskevis also known as the street with blue doors is another iconic street in Mykonos Town. This cute street features only blue doors and railings along with the white of the cube houses. This is reminiscent of the colors of the flag of Greece that you will find right at the end of this street!

This church is located in a small picturesque square not difficult to find in Mykonos Town. Agia Kyriaki Church features a red dome in perfect contrast to the blue sky. Plus, we love all those little flags that make this spot a must-have in your Mykonos photo album.

There are sixteen windmills scattered around Mykonos and you can find five of them standing in a row near Little Venice. You will find a car park in the area near the windmills where we recommend you leave your car to explore Mykonos Town. If you want to have some amazing photos with the windmills, wake up early and go there for sunrise when no one is around. This is one of the busiest places in Mykonos especially at sunset when all people love to enjoy the sunset in this location also known as Kato Mili.

This Instagram spot is located next to the Louis Vuitton store in Mykonos Town. Unfortunately, when we were there in early June this corner was a bit neglected compared to some photos we found on the web. However, if you are strolling in Mykonos Town, you can stop and take some photos on the bench. Also if you are a shopping lover Louis Vuitton is extremely close to this spot.

For us, this place boasts a perfect view of Mykonos Town like no other place. The exact location of this spot is not easy to find. However, you will find the location on the map at the end of the article. This place is basically on an abandoned road so don’t expect anything fancy. It’s quite far away from Mykonos Town by foot but if you’re determined it’s doable.

During our travels in Greece, we’ve visited numerous islands and Mykonos definitely boasts one of the towns we love the most.
