It became famous in 1993 for the Oscar-nominated film Fresa y Chocolate. We recommend you to book your table in La Guarida well in advance because this restaurant is well known by tourists. The exact position of these buildings is really simple to find. In fact, they are in front of the Capitolio. Our favourite perspective for a perfect photo is in front of the buildings from the Capitolio sidewalk. Best time: maybe the best light is just before sunset. However, it could be a bit crowded so we chose sunrise when the sun is still behind the buildings.

It is located in Old Havana, at the intersection of Calle Obispo and Calle Monserrate, near the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes. We had lunch and tasted their famous daiquiri.
